Hi David,

I wondered how you could display a navigation in a grid format rather than featured products on the home page, that is to say having a grid showing "product A" "image, jpg" "from £1" "shop now" etc. for example for each menu item

Hi Paul,

Do you mean for example to display the Featured Products using the search results layout?

Cheers,
David.

Hi David,

Yeah in a manner of speaking, but the output would be menu items, which upon clicking would take you to taht page, so I guess it would be a navigation tool to the rest of the site second level pages...

Does that make sense, or would it just be as practical to hand code it?

Regards

Paul

Hi Paul,

It probably would if they're not going to change regularly - as this will save database look-ups every time the menu is displayed. Perhaps one option would be to hand code it in the first instance (as this will show me exactly what output you're looking for), then email me a link to it in operation and I'll see whether it would be worth coding up with database queries...

Cheers,
David.

Hi David,

Thinking about it a little deeper, I suppose I could do it what I want through the featured products facility...

thanks for your answer

regards

Paul
