question re cron job and unexpected end of file

Hi David,

Hope you're well?

I know this is not a problem with the script but a problem probabaly with the merchant, but before getting on to them to resolve, can you give me the reason why I might get the following message for ceratin feeds when they have been working perfectly fine up until now?

"gzip: {code saved}: unexpected end of file"

Regards

Paul

Hello Paul,

It is basically indicating that the compressed data is corrupt, and so cannot be extracted correctly. It may have been a transient error of course, but what I would do is take the original URL for that feed and request it manually and download to your local computer; and then attempt to extract it locally and see if a similar error is displayed; and if so i'm afraid it would be down to the merchant to correct at source...

Cheers,
David.
