I was trying to register and import the entertainment category which I sadly found out got stuck in a loop and created a high server load on my server, necessitating me to contact my host and they killed the process.
I then found out the size of the feed 1944091 products, 814mb (YIKES!).
Looking at created a feed I can easily do the entertainment category without the books section. However, I would like to also include the books, but that alone is 1662532 products, which I fear still would be too big to not cause problems.
Does anybody else manage to register and import the books category without problems?
Are there any ideas on a way I can grab it?

It's doable, but well into the realms of dedicated server with optimised MySQL installation i'm afraid (don't forget the big MySQL DB thread).
Having said that the problem is not the feed size, it's the database size (assuming sufficient resources to import without any timeout issues - although Slow Import Tool should handle that size no problem) so maybe it is worth looking at; should you decide to carry this category; restricting it to sub-categories within the books category if that's an option? There are various fields available from Affiliate Window that could be used to do this if that's an option - perhaps if you could let me know the site, feed directory and filename I'll download the first few 100K (not the whole feed) and look at the options for you...
