Brands Mapping

i have many brands from various feeds that are of the same but they have different name (e.g. adidas, adida etc -just an example-).

is it possible to map them under one name? and possible this name to be assigned to the appropriate logo?

also

is it possible to NOT show some brand names? cause many merchants they seem to use it "by accident" flooding it with various info that is not actual brand names and its messing arround with the rest.

Hi,

Have a look at the following thread which describes a very simple modification to make Category Mappings also apply to brands...

So in this case, you could create a new mapping with a master "category" name of "Adidas", and then enter all the alternatives on the configuration page. The mapping will then be applied the next time you import affected feeds.

Brand Logos can be done in the same way as merchant logos, check the following thread for the code...
