New to PT - Can't import CSV or XML

Hi,

I've just setup PT however can't seem to import an Affiliate Window datafeed. I've created a feed for a single merchant using the Affiliate Window Create-A-Feed system. Deselected all options and added product_name, description, merchant_image_url, aw_deep_link, display_price, merchant_category and brand_name as advised on these forums.

Then, no matter what feed format I select (autoformat, or any of the other formats offered) all I get is non valid text (squares and symbols and meaningless characters) in the Field Mapping drop downs.

Any ideas?
