Google and joomla site

Submitted by jvd88 on Tue, 2009-04-28 14:51 in

Hi David,

As you know i have implemented everything in a joomla based website.
If i know type a product in the Google search, it finds my website,
only it goes directly to the prijsklopper.com/affiliates/

Is it possible to change this ?

Greetz,

joep

Hi Joep,

I'm not sure what's best to advise here, as it would depend on your affiliate performance from links arriving directly at your Price Tapestry site, Vs. redirecting those links to your framed site.

As the "hit" will be very well targeted to the product, and the only onward links presented to the visitor being those to the merchant, would it perhaps be best leaving it as it is?

I can help you redirect, but i'm not sure that's in your (or the search engine's) best interests...

Cheers,
David.

Well i think it is the best that people see the main site. Not the backend.
So if you can help re-direct. please.

It is up to me to make it google friendly for the rest.

Regards,

Joep

Hi Joep,

To work this out, if you could email me your page that includes your Price Tapestry site in a frame i'll look into it for you...

Cheers,
David.

Hi David,

Not sure what you mean.. The whole thing is wrapped in Joomla.

It is a wrapper module. And in the source you see just Iframe.

My second thought was to get also wrap Winkel, Categorie and Merk .. now they refer to
the original Winkel> prijsklopper.com/affiliates/merchants.php.

I can give you a login if you want to.
