I am working on a new PT site.
Single word search queries do not work anymore... When I search for:
Canon Digital IXUS 100 IS
It works.
When I search for:
Canon
No search results....
I have been modifying some files in order to translate the word 'Brand' into my own language.
Where should I look for the mistake?

The only obvious reason I can think of for that situation is that you are using test data and "canon" is not indexed as it appears in > 50% of records. MySQL's full text indexing method does not index words of this criteriea because they are generally supurflous words such as "and" or "not" etc.
If that's not the case; if you could email me a link to your site and a copy of your modified search.php i'll take a look for you!
