Hi Paul,

Where you select products from only one merchant, no problem at all.

Don't forget that Affiliate Window had now said they will not be turning off the old system, so the existing full merchant feeds will continue to work as normal.

Cheers,
David.

Hi Paul,

As it's user-configurable now it would depend how you have setup your feed.

Could you perhaps email me a link to your site, and the filename of one of the feeds and I'll download it from your /feeds/ folder to my test server and take a look for you and let you know exactly what fields to register...

Cheers,
David.

Sorry to hijack Pauls thread but I am having trouble with the new affiliate window feeds

Using the csv and I can't get it to consistently map field to field

Some fields which have a value on the CSV (most noticably price and some image fields) show as blank or zero on my site.

any suggestions ?

thanks

Hi,

Did you make sure that the format was auto-detected correctly? I think Affiliate Window's new CSV format is quoted text, but the header row is not quoted, so it is not auto-detected.

If this is the case, on Feed Registration (Step 1), instead of keeping the auto-detected Format String, manually select the correct format from the drop down box - in this case I think it will be:

Quoted Text - Header Row - Comma Separated

That should be all it is...

Cheers,
David.

blimey - that was quick - I think it did auto detect but I'll doube check the parameters

Done - I was using text not quoted text.

For other noobs searching along after - there is a difference...

Does any one have problems importing into Price Tapestry. I cannot get the deeplinks to work. I have checked the XML and there is no Cdata around the deeplink (unlike the old feeds) and as a consequence the ampersands in the querystring get removed.

Hi Andy,

Sounds like this issue - a PHP bug when PHP has been compiled against a certain version of the XML library.

I'll email you the version of Magic Parser with the work-around for this.

Cheers,
David.
