Extra field add, but not added to the feed table

I have tried to add at new field to tha database linke this link http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/313

.. but i have a problem with the feed registration table.
When i registre a new merchant then the selected colum (Brand_Code) is not written to the database, this is only for the new field. If i enter the same 'Brand_code' directly into phpmyadmin and then run the import again, then the values for 'Brand_Code' is written to alle the products correctly. So the problem is only to get the extra field to registre in the feeds table.
