a future wish...

A future wish for merchants is to split the list of merchants into 2 colums

see: http://shoppingchanneluk.com/merchant/

it would look much better in 2, or more colums

another wish..

i can do this myself, but its something i think would be good for everyone

on search.php have 'previous' aswell as next (except on 1st page)

or even a [1] [2] [3] [4] style of page navigation

like i say i can do this, but have not yet as i am waiting to see what other future developments happen before i 'mod' too much as i hate repeating changes over and over again

Both wishes have my support - especially the second one.

:)

Dont get me wrong, the program asis, is outstanding for the cost.. but as is often the case with this sort of thing, the early adopters help with ideas

so i wouldnt was my 'hints' to be taken the wrong way, some things i could do myself, but if its something that could help others, then maybe it should go in the distribution....

keep up the good work!!

No worries! It's great to get the feedback and make the script better still for new users!

I will look at how both of these can be incorporated whilst keeping the code simple and the HTML that is generated search engine friendly - which is especially important for the merchant index as this is the gateway to your entire product database for indexing agents.

The previous link is dead easy - I've incorporated the code into mine already but I haven't got around to making it look right yet. When I do I'll post the code - it's a dead small fix - two lines of code.

I guess also the ability to import a category and search by category would be handy

AW feeds normaly have categories, and i would like to be able to show anything in say category "Televisions"

i could do a search on television but i have notices some feeds only use part numbers for the name, and television would display only in the description
