Page numbers on external site

Submitted by babrees on Fri, 2008-10-24 08:30 in

I am using searchexternal. How can I put page numbers and next there? Or perhaps up the number of products shown per page.

For instance, this page should have a lot more products:

Thanks
Jill

Hello Jill,

This is somewhat more complex than just bringing in some HTML from the Price Tapestry site and displaying it inline as variable parameters become involved etc. Bear with me and i'll look into it for you...

Cheers,
David.

Hi Brian,

Are you wanting to include the navigation links (Prev / Next) etc. on search results using searchExternal.php?

Cheers,
David.

Hi david

I'm using this externalsearch and when the result of a search is displayed, only the fist 10(or whatever the config.php is configured) product is shown in the list over results, the 'Previous | 1 2 3 4 | Next' is missing inside joomla?

I believe that this is what this thread is about or have i missed something :o)

Hi Brian,

Yes - that is what this thread is about! It's quite tricky because the page numbers involve passing parameters on to the next page which are obtained through the URL, however in this case it is Joomla or Wordpress that is in "control" of the URL. I'll do some experiments on Monday to see if it can be made to work easily...

Cheers,
David.
