Hi David, just wondered if I could use pt with wordpress.
Rob
I've done this although it did require some guidance from David and some pestering of people who are much better at Wordpress plugins than myself.
I got it to the point where you could view all the products etc within wordpress pages however the admin control was still seperate. I also didn't finish the jump.php integration.
My honest opinion to all other users having done this myself is to listen to David and install it in its own directory as it involves LOTS of source code modification and patience.
David Fiske has done a really good job of providing a template which makes Wordpress and PriceTapestry look very similar as well, you can view it here
Thanks, this sounds like excellent advice. Watch this space...
Regards Rob
Hi Rob,
Price Tapestry users often want to incorporate their sites with various different CMS engines such as Wordpress. What I recommend is installing Price Tapestry into a sub-directory (for example /shopping/) with your CMS installed in the main directory.
Then, I have written a couple of support scripts that enable you to pull out search and price comparison results into the top level site; - have a look at the following thread for more info and example code:

Cheers,
David.
