Hi
I have just purchased PT and I very keen to test it out the myweb server. I am unable to procced further to browse setup.php due to my lack of technical in the installation of PT and ofcourse freshly new in this field. Below are the steps that I have carried out so far:
1. Saved config.php.dist as config.php as per instruction
2. SQL database has been created
3. Uploaded PT files and directory to the StartLogic web server root document /shop/
4. Now up to step (4 in the manual) Browse to setup.php and don't know to do next.
Someone please provide direction of how I can proceed further to the next stage. I am very much appreciate of any help

Hi David,
I like to say thank you so much for having go beyond the boundaries to help me with the installation of PT. It is now up running and I am delighted with the power of PT and certianly the level of support you have provided to me during the installation of PT. There are many more of the technical skills in PHP that I need to learn as moving along. I see the support forum is an excellent source of technical information that every members can share the knowledge and help each others to solving the problems.

As you have installed into the /shop/ subdirectory, in your browser you should have:
http://www.example.com/shop/setup.php
setup.php will then test the database connection, and then ask you to click a link to install the tables. Have you been able to see and do this? After clicking the link it should look like this:
http://www.webpricecheck.co.uk/setup.php
