Adding a CSS navigation menu

Submitted by oliver on Sat, 2007-12-08 16:16 in

Hi David

I've been struggling to add a css nav menu - I wonder if you could help me out please?
The menu I want is here: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/style/csslibrary/item/glossy_horizontal_menu/

What I've done is:

- pasted the HTML part into header.php right at the bottom of the file so it's outside the php.

- created a folder called 'media' in which I've put the images.

- Pasted the new CSS into default.css at the bottom.

All I get is the html part showing as a simple list of links with bullet points but I can't seem to get header.php to connect to the new css.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Oliver

Hi Oliver,

I'd need to have a look at your site and study the menu code in more details to give a better answer, but just quickly - did you hard-refresh the page in order to force it to reload the CSS? In Internet Explorer, I think it's CTRL+F5 or SHIFT+F5 to do a hard refresh...

Cheers,
David.
