Category Mapping Problem

I'm trying to merge under category "Motherboard".

I have a few feeds and have set up mapping with words below:

Motherboards

Motherboards AMD

Motherboards Intel

Motherboards Server

Motherboard CPU VGA Sets

Now when I reimport the feeds and check the category section, the various motherboard variation categories are gone, but also there is no single "Motherboard" category also.

What am I doing wrong?

Hello Peter,

It may be that spurious characters infront of the master category name "Motherboard" are causing the new category to appear out of place in the A-Z list, if at all, for example it a carriage return or line feed character is infront.

I would try deleting and then recreating the mapped category, typing "Motherboard" into the master category box directly instead of copy / paste'ing it from somewhere else. Then re-import and see if that makes a difference.
