Do I need to reinstall or update?

I have just downloaded the newest version of price tapestry with the added features. Do I need to delete my existing database and reinstall the new one? or can I simply upgrade it?

Hi Paul,

I'm afraid the changes are too significant for an upgrade to be feasable, so yes, you will need to install from scratch.

Hello Guillaume,

This too sounds like you may be running the new code against the old database, as the warning implies that an SQL query has failed. To check what the problem is, in config.advanced.php change line 6 to:

$config_databaseDebugMode = TRUE;

...and then run the same page again and the SQL and actual MySQL error message will be displayed which should indicate the problem...
