I wonder if PT is workable for non affiliate. Bcos in some countries, they don't have an affiliate program available. I understand that if we are not affiliate, we can't earn commission. That is ok becos some merchants are willing to pay directly instead of going thru affiliate program.
If it is possible, what kind of websites are workable with PT. Some merchants created their websites using html/xhtml/dhtml/xml etc... only and some merchants are using shopping cart program with databases either mysql (php) or mssql (.asp). If it is possible, how could we get their feeds.

Hello Jack,
Any merchant that can provide you with a data file of their products containing the minimum fields that Price Tapestry requires could be used. They are:
Product Name
Buy URL
Price
There is no reason why the Buy URL has to be an affiliate URL at all, it can just be a direct link to the merchant site, and as you say you can have some other kind of commercial relationship with the merchant.
All they need to do is provide you with their product data in any format that Price Tapestry can read, so pretty much any XML file, or just plain text CSV etc.
