Hello,
this file I tried to import several times. It's from the big affiliate network zanox, affilinet seems to have the same system.
www.wohh.de/data.csv
By the way, why is there no language file, so that every file has to be edited each one by one?
Hello, thank you for your quick replay.
I exactly tried this, and all the other options, but in the news step, when I have to say which field has to be selected, there are no fileds in the drop down. Other feeds not from zanox are working...?
Hi,
Can you send me an email, with a link to a Zanox feed in the /feeds/ folder of your Price Tapestry site, one that you can't register, for example:
http://www.yoursite.com/feeds/merchant.txt
I will then download the feed to my test server and take a look for you. You can reply to your forum registration or reg code email is the easiest way to get me...
Cheers,
David.
Hi Again,
It just occurred to me that there have been issues with Zanox feeds before. Please see the following thread:
http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/373
I recommend that you use their XML feeds, and then on Registration - Step 1, enter the following format string in the text box:
xml|ZANOX/PRODUCT/
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
David.
If the backend system is the same as affili.net, there may be options within your zanox admin panel to change the format of the datafeed exported. I use affili.net feeds with no problem as I've set them up how I want.
When you register your feed with Price Tapestry, use csv|59|1|34 as the format. This seems to work for me.
Hi There,
The wohh feed (and also Affilinet feeds) are "Semi-Colon" separated values. This is the only format that is not automatically detected by the parser, so you have to select the correct format manually. To use these feeds, click "Register", and on the Registration - Step 1 page, select "Quoted Text - Header Row - Semicolon Separated" from the drop-down box and make sure that the radio button alongside is selected. The feed will then register and import fine.
Regarding a translation, all of your changes can be made in one file. The file is includes/translate.php. In this file there is an example translation, and what you need to do is copy the example for any words or phrases on the site that you want to change, for example, you could add the following line to the list:
$translate["Search"] = "Recherche";
Hope this helps,
Cheers,
David.
