Hi Yogi,

What I would recommend in this instance is to increase your merchant feed download / import proceedure, and if you haven't already have a look at automating the process. This will mean that any products no longer available will be removed by virtue of the fact that they are no longer in the feed...

Cheers,
David.

Hi yogi,

I see what you want to do, but the coding to implment this is quite complex and also requires scheduled processes to run in order to perform the product removal. Whilst feeds do contain other fields such as VALIDUNTIL, this is not a field that is imported as it is not part of the basic product info set (Name, Description, Image URL, Buy URL or Price).

Ultimately, if a product is no longer available at an offer price it should no longer be in the feed at that price, which is why I think that a more frequent update of your feed is the best solution in this instance. If the feed still contains products with prices that are no longer available I would recommend contacting the merchant to see if it is possible that the feed could reflect the real live pricing available at the time you download it...

Cheers,
David.
