undefined notices

hmm getting a ton of these whilst running php import.php @ALL

PHP Warning: mysql_insert_id() expects parameter 1 to be resource, object given in /usr/share/nginx/www/includes/database.php on line 57

Am i right in thinking that this:
PHP Warning: mysql_insert_id() expects parameter 1 to be resource, object given in /usr/share/nginx/www/includes/database.php on line 57

means that the connection variable is not being sent? looking around the net that's what it suggests. The products are still importing, slowly, but they are doing it.

Also line 176:

$importRecord[$field] = $record[$admin_importFeed["field_".$field]];

any suggestions on how to stop this?
