Hi. I've just got a basic installation of price tapestry up and running and I'm quite pleased with it.
For future development the search functionality is most important to me - the data product is nice and simple and reliable, so extra product display functionality is what I'm looking for. A nice lean search function which filters out words like "the", and has options to display by price, merchant or age etc would round it out nicely.
Agreed - my next focus is going to be improving the search results and also building in result sort ordering. Gotta be carefull with query execution time and the search engine considerations of having a page of results and then 2 or 3 different links to re-order those results.
Removing stop words from the name_search field is a good idea. I hadn't coded that in so far; so i'll have a play and see how it works.
