just having a think really ,
we all have a database with all these products , how hard would it be to make content units (like u can on somenetworks), say in the admin area you add a content unit and put the names of 5,6 or what ever products and then gives u the code to display that content unit, like featured items but so u can have lots of different ones , could be usful in blog posts and if there is more than one item it would matter if some items disappeared from the feeds as the would hopefully still be items to display in the content unit.
i know this is like featured items but the idea would be to have a few backend featured part so you can add several content units.
