Hello everyone, I am looking at some advises to speed up site performance, so I decided to start a thread where users (and Dave of course) would share tips to speed up the performance!
I want to start with the list of the things that I already know and implemented:
1 - I would start with: - Get a dedicated server! (or in worst case scenario a VPS)
2 - A great performance enhancement can be achieved by installing the mod from the link below:

3 - Try to keep less products per category and more categories - will also help...
That is as far as I know...
Now are there any other "tricks" to speed it all up? (assuming we are talking about a medium size site not more than 100.000 products)
Any other Caching techniques recommended?
MySql Updates?
Anything else?
