HTML in CSV file

Hi David

Hope you are well, we have a customer who provides an excel csv feed full of html in the description(below) which when imported PT strips away tags <>/ etc but leaves li li p p and most of the other style stuff inline. Do you have suggestions how to handle this.

Chris

Hi Chris,

By default Price Tapestry imports and displays the description field "as is", however I just tested the code from your post and PHP's strip_tags() function does a pretty good job of reducing it down to the just the character data. If you've not tried this already, attach a "Strip HTML" filter to the Description field for this feed, re-import and that should do the trick...

Cheers,
David.
