Within the next couple of hours I will be launching the beta of the next Price Tapestry distribution which contains an update to the Category Hierarchy implementation (in order to better support large hierarchies), and this contains a new version of the Reverse Mapping tool and should resolve the issue.
From the 15/09A (Beta) distribution (available shortly) extract the following files to upgrade this section of your installation:
...from the end of the file and PASTE into your current version of includes/tapestry.php.
The upgrade does include changes to the front end files categories.php and search.php which use these new functions and avoids loading of the complete hierarchy into memory however if this is not an issue in your case there is no need to modify these files however should you wish to and are not sure about any of the changes just let me know of course...
