Hi David,

I have a problem with import in database, when i put a xml or csv via ftp in the feeds folder it's ok but when i fetch the file it doesn't import.

Thx

Hello Henk,

How the files get to the /feeds/ folder shouldn't affect whether or not an import (or register in the first instance works) so I'm wondering perhaps if the source is compressed but the job is not configured to unzip?

If that's not the case, could you let me know the URL of the installation and the filename of the feed (i'll remove before publishing your reply), and I'll download it to my test server and check it out for you...

Cheers,
David.

Hi Henk,

I just fetched the second feed, and all looks OK but I notice it has lots of meta-data, so it may just be that it is fooling the auto-detection. On Feed Registration Step 1, make sure that the auto-detected Format String is just..

xml|PRODUCTS/PRODUCT/

And that should be all it is.

If still not sure, if you could let me know the URL of your installation (not the original feed URL) and the filename you have it saved as in your feeds folder, and I'll fetch what you actually downloaded and see if there is some difference..

Cheers,
David.
