Using PriceTapestry as a Costing Database

Submitted by Carmel on Thu, 2006-09-14 04:35 in

Hi there,

I am trying to find a database / software program that will allow me to view machines by Brand New / Second hand and replacement value costs etc.

I am wondering if you think PriceTapestry would be good for this type of thing?

If not - does anyone else have and suggestions?

This is not for selling items, just to compare vlaue prices on machines for a valuation company..

Thanks

Hi Carmel,

Thank you for your interest in Price Tapestry.

I'm afraid it doesn't sound on the surface as thought the script would be particularly suited to what you want to do. Assuming that you were able to obtain product feeds for the machine types that you wanted to list, you would need to add alternative fields to the database to store new / second-hand etc.

One option that might be worth looking at is whether there are any plugins or options in OSCommerce that may be able to do what you want...
