I am building a directory of shops and what i want to know is there any way to create a link that will bring up all the catagories for that particular shop, also i would like to do the same for brands.
Looked in forum, could not find this type of search result/link

That shows the mods required to pass a merchant name to the category index and only display categories for that merchant. Exactly the same aproach can be used on the brand page - let me know if you need a hand with that...
