Website slow and sidebar and footer missing

hi,
I noticed my website was getting slow and there were some parts missing. Like sidebar and footer.

Then I discovered the error_log with PFP warnings and Fatal errors. So I guess that explains it. But what should I do now?

Hi Marco,

It appears from the logs as if some code in your custom template's sidebar.php file is ending up in an infinate loop and consuming all available memory to PHP; and this in turn triggers the "could not open" error.

Could your email me your sidebar.php and I'll check that out for you.

Thanks. You are right on top with your analysis. I registered a feed assuming it only had some items in it. But they were a lot which which is why it is running out of memory.
