Spltting up extra data from description.

I have some extra information in the description of one of the datafeeds which i'd like to assign to the products table.

Length: [length]
Colour: [color]
Material: [material]
Brand: [brand]

I've setup multiple filters on it already by searching and replacing for example: "Length: [length]" to "Length: [length]"

I'm just wondering if it's possible using one of the available filters to assign material to a field in the database.

Hi Steve,

What about trying the Scan and Set filter which looks like it should do the job here. After creating a new field `material` following the standard instructions you could then add a new Scan and Set filter to the `material` field, containing a comma separated list of all possible material values on the configuration page for the filter - should do the trick!

I think that would be the best option, no need to setup any complex filtering.
