Hi David,
Just want to know if you maybe have a xml generator for Zencart or an example for a starting point.
Kindest regards
Hi David,
I have a zencart store with about 25000 products that I want to export in a xml format so that I can import into my price tapestry site.
thanks
Jacques
Hello Jacques,
You don't necessarily need XML to import into Price Tapestry, you can use any CSV format, and it looks like the Easy Populate plugin for Zencart has export as well as import functionality so that should do the trick!
Cheers,
David.

Hi David,
I've tried this previously, I want to put one php file in my zencart root folder that can auto generate a datafeed through a url, almost like a rss feed. I've seen a lot of comparison sites give this generators to clients. I don't know where to start?
Thanks
Jacques
Hello Jacques,
Thanks for your post, bear with me and I will make a test installation of Zen Cart, it might be very easy if the database structure is straight forward to make a "live" export script that you can simply request by URL. Could you perhaps email me a link to your store and an example product page URL as you would like it to be exported in the "feed"?
Thanks.
David.

Hi David,
At the moment my website is down. basically the feed just needs to export the following fields(in xml feed):
-Category
-Product Name
-Product Description
-SKU
-Brand
-Price
-Image URL
-Product Buy URL
Will this help?
Thanks
Jacques
Thanks Jacques,
Just an example of how a Product Buy URL on your site looks would be OK, e.g.
http://www.example.com/productinfo.php?id=1234
or
http://www.example.com/buy/Product-Name.html
Thanks!
David.

Hi Jacques,
Do you already have products in a Zencart store which you would like to export and then use in a Price Tapestry site, or the other way round?
Cheers,
David.
