Showing the mapped category on product page

Hi there
I'm trying to show the mapped category on the product page, using the $mainProduct["category"] to refer to the category, however this appears to show the unmapped category. Is it possible to show the mapped category or should this do the trick?

$mainProduct["category"]should show the mapped category - as that is all that exists in the product record after import - assuming that a mapping has been applied.It would indicate therefore that the mapping is not being applied in the case of a particular product where you are seeing the "unmapped" category. Firstly, don't forget that whenever you add or modify mappings you need to re-import all affected feeds for the mapping to completely take effect.
If that's the case and you're still not sure - can you let me know the details of the mapping you were expecting to be applied - the mapped category, list of alternatives, and the unmapped category for that product and I'll check it out for you...
