Merging with a wordpress site!

Submitted by kimarie on Sun, 2010-06-13 11:53.

I would like to have the search box on {link saved} to appear in a widget on the right side of my site ({link saved}) and on its own wordpress page.

I also would like my searches such as {link saved} to appear in a wordpress page such as ....

On the bottom of this page {link saved} there is an easy content unit for more lipsy dresses, can I do the same type of thing with price tapestry?

Are these all possible?
Thank you!

Hi there,

Sure - what you need is the "full" version of the external scripts, that you will find documented on the following page:

http://www.pricetapestry.com/node/2289

These can be included anywhere within an external site (e.g. WordPress) where you can include arbitrary PHP code; which you can do within WordPress using the Exec-PHP plugin.

What I would suggest, is to first implement searchExternal.php as a test, and once you have that working, email me a copy of the "calling code" that you have implemented it with, and I'll send you the full external.php together with the calling code required for that verison; which will enable you to show a search box within your WordPress site, and have results returned within their own page...

Cheers,
David.
